The 4th of July we decided to take the new
car down to the coast with our friends Jeanna and Jesper
I definitely
enjoyed the ride over the hills down to the coast. California living!!
Who cares if it is windy when you live in
sunny California :O)
Finally arriving in the villiage of Halfmoon
bay. Halfmoon bay is situated just south of San Francisco at the Pacific
Ocean. We spent some nice and relaxing hours here drinking coffe and
eating icecream
On our way back we took the Skyline boulevard
towards Palo Alto. This road is fameous for it's views, but what we
didn't know was that it is also a habitat for some great Redwood trees.
Translating for our Swedish friends. This tree - Methuselah - is 1800
years old, and was 69 meter high until the top broke off, and is 4.3
meter wide at the base.
Jeanna is trying to prevent the tree from
falling while Jonas is standing at the base.making sure it is not
falling his way.
